Bauer took the Vapor APX skate back to the drawing board and improved upon the already great APX Skate. Bauer's Vapor APX2 skate adds the revolutionary Lightspeed Edge holder to the skate which allows for quick swapping of runners to make sure you are always skating with an edge. This holder also raises the holder up by 3mm to allow elite players to get a greater angle of attack when making tight corners. The lacing system has been completely redesigned into a one piece construction to provide even better energy transfer. Bauer has developed Curv technology which allows for greater forward flex for longer more powerful strides. Bauer has taken skates to the next level with the APX2!
Quarter Package:
• 3D lasted Curv Composite upper with X-rib pattern. The X-rib design provides structural support and stability throughout the boot, allowing for faster acceleration and quicker turns. The angle of the boot is cut aggressive to allow greater forward flex.
Lining Material:
• Hydra-Max 2 Liner- Moisture wicking and abrasion-resistant with integrated comfort wrap. The Total Edge Comfort minimizes wear and tear around the top of the ankle.
Ankle Padding:
• Lightweight form fit ankle pads.
Tongue Construction:
• Form-Fit 3 52oz 3-piece pro felt tongue, with integrated and enhanced abrasion resistant metatarsal guard.
Footbed:
• Form-Fit+ performance with enhanced comfort in the toe area. The toe protection feature can be customized to a specific players needs.
Thermoformable:
• Full upper.
