Extreme Flex 3.9 Goalie Glove not Durable
I purchased this glove, along with a blocker from the Livonia, MI store in mid December 2017 as a Christmas present for my high school aged son. At that time, it was a $250 dollar purchase for the glove, and $250 for the matching blocker. In late February 2018 the glove developed a tear in the heel area of the palm. We took it back to the Livonia store to see what could be done.and were told to take it to the Flint store where it could be repaired by a CCM tech. Without access to a replacement glove, we had to wait until the spring hockey season was complete. Anyway, it cost us $40 to have the glove repaired.and the repair looked OK. Anyway, the tear reopened during my son's fall winter 2018/19 high school season. It would seem to me that CCM would have a better replacement policy for a $250 glove that failed within the first 3 months of service, but apparently not. We will probably not buy CCM goalie equipment again as it is just not very durable.
