The new Easton EQ40 skate offers the styling of the EQ50 skate but a more flexible hybrid of fit and performance. The skate is constructed with Texalium glass composite launch zones in the side wing, tendon, and heel. This skate features a light, stiff composite outsole with Dry Flow for quick drying.

Uni-Body:
• Proprietary lasted skate construction that allows Easton to make the entire skate a composite structure,, all the components supporting each other
Ideal Fit- The fit system for Synergy skates encompasses the foot with thermally activated, anatomical ankle foams and an extremely comfortable felt tongue
Heat Moldable:
• Proprietary thermo set glue formations allow for enhanced comfort, improved comfort and game ready performance
Elite Runners:
• High end stainless steel design with a power tab in the middle of the blade for enhanced stiffness and energy return

Excellent skates!
My son loves these skates. He has worn Bauer and Reebok pumps in the past, but so far these are his favorite skates.

Bought these for my 9 year old son. He is coming off the Easton EQ5 and he loved them. Decided to buy these B/C of his familiarity with easton skates and the price was a no-brainer. Gave them 4 stars B/C he has yet to skate in them but they have been b
