what a deal! this G4 glove is top of the line from Warrior. Most gloves at this price point do not open all the way in the back hand to air out....and you know that gloves get smelly! I love the full opening of this glove and the multiple straps to keep this glove locked onto your hand. The glove break is decent out of the box. it definitely needs time to break in a bit more, but it shouldn't take too long. I have a smaller hand and this glove fits with plenty of room. Full closure is a bit difficult brand new, but it will work in with time like any other glove. I also like the lack of external roping on the glove making one less thing to worry about wearing out. I do wish it was a split T glove, but the pocket is nice and deep.

I love the blocker, and love the leg pads, but the Warrior catch gloves were built for children's hands. The break feels like it's halfway up my fingers. Maybe there's a reason for it, but I can't figure out what. I thought maybe I was trying on a woman's size, but that doesn't even exist. If you have large hands (and XL good luck!) , you need to go check out some place with gloves in person before buying. The Vaughn, Bauer, and CCM gloves all fit my hands great and broke in a place that felt like I was going to catch a puck properly, but Warrior and Brians are just oddly small. Shame as they look really well designed as far as protection and seams go. I want to like them, but can't.
