The VAUGHN Pro Return 7600 Velocity 4 Leg Pads are a new design with new engineering, and features designed to enhance performance of the Velocity style goal pads. The V4 goal pad is constructed with an internal core to provide a lighter weight and more sturdy structure, as well as an increased perimeter edge strength for a much stronger puck blocking surface. Wider inside pad edge gives a more stable landing area while on the ice and provides additional stability for a more dynamic slide across the ice. Also improves balance and control. The tall plus-sizing with a tall thigh rise helps seal off the five-hole area and the lower pad break angle holds the pad taller for coverage in all positions. Narrow outer side panel. Improved lateral pad balance for feel. Wider leg and knee cradle is lined with a low friction micro fiber synthetic leather to speed pad rotation. Inner toe design helps skate blade contact the ice sooner for a faster recovery and additional control. Wider knee cradle also features a double elastic strap with dual Velcro™ adjustments for a customizable fit. Higher density inside knee protection. Knee lifter design and construction utilizes higher density foams that have been layered to maximize protection and impact resistance for less shock to the inner knee area.
