Perani’s Hockey World has a general sizing guide that will aid in selecting the correct helmet for your player. Please understand most youth hockey requires full face protection to accompany your helmet. Face protection may come in the form of a player’s cage or face shield; both provide great protection while allowing for clear visibility and full ventilation. You may visit our website and see our entire line ofHockey Helmets. Make sure that your helmet is properly certified complete with an updated HECC Certification sticker.
Shoulder Pads

Gloves are available in a wide variety of sizes, colors and fit options. A Perani’s Hockey World associate will gladly provide options for you so you have the utmost confidence in the level of protection and performance you’re providing your player with.

Neck Guard
Neck guards protect your player and minimize injury from potential damage caused by skates, sticks and pucks. Most hockey requires a neck guard; in the rare instance that you play hockey in any capacity where neck guards aren’t mandatory; we suggest that your player wears one regardless. Neck guards (goalies too) are available in youth, intermediate and adult sizes. Shop our Hockey Neck Guards today!

Several of these options will be accompanied by a cup and supporter along with Velcro tabs to help secure and hold up your hockey socks! Perani's Hockey World carries a full line of Compression Pants, Jocks and Cups for boys and Pelvic Protectors for girls.
Shin Guards
Choose a shin guard with ample protection for your level of play. Entry level shin guards are fantastic for new players while the levels of protection increase as your player grows and progresses. It’s important to be fully protected while allowing your player full mobility and comfort.

Socks
You have your skates, now it's time to choose your new socks! A thinner, breathable “compression/skate” sock works best regardless of whether you’re a forward, defenseman or goaltender. This type of sock allows your skate to fit best and dry out quicker after each use.
You’ll also need a pair of socks that will fit over your shin guards. There are two styles of sock construction available. Traditional knit socks tend to be a little cheaper and work fine or the newer performance socks that are lighter weight and more breathable. These socks are available in a massive array of colors and sizes. If you have a favorite team or color scheme; we have socks for you! Bauer, CCM, Kobe, UA and Warrior amongst others make socks we carry and sell every day. Shop our Sock section to find the right socks for your player.

Colors, sizes and personalization are all options for you to take a look at. Bags are available in a variety of sizes based on the age and type of player using the bag.
