Fine tune, lace your skates evenly, every time.
Wax laces are best with this product. Especially useful is that you can fine lace your skates up, stand up and make any minor adjustments the first time. Yesterday, I spoke to a guy who skated for 3 hours with me who had to keep retightening his waxed(!) laces. With this device I have never had to readjust my laces.

Little hands
If you've got a kid who needs to pull his laces tight so he/she can tie skates without grownup, this product might be the answer. My son used it for a few months with success.
