With the step up from Peewee to Bantam we found ourselves looking for an upgrade in goalie mask. Safety was our main concern which led us to the Bauer 940. Very impressed with the mask and the increased safety and didn't have to spend a fortune. Our son liked the ability to choose the cage style but disappointed it wasn't stocked in black. We'll paint or add a covering anyway so not a big deal.

This mask is super comfortable, I had a hard time finding a large mask that worked for me, but this one fits great. A good amount of protection as well.

Upgraded from the Bauer 930 - happy with that helmet, too but since our son is playing HS level hockey now, thought it was time to get a safer and more durable helmet. He said it feels better (softer but more durable) than the 930. Really happy with the purchase, wish it was available in black though.
