Bauer offers protection, comfort and great vision in this combo helmet package - not even tempted to spend $100 more for top of their top of line as this beauty will serve me well for a few years

My son loves the comfort provided by all the padding inside of the helmet and adjusting the helmet size is so easy that he no longer needs me to help him. Great buy!

Having had a previous concussion I was wary about helmets. I found a "consumer reports" type study done by a college and found that several of the 5-star helmets were either discontinued or out of stock, except for this fine helmet at Hockey World. First off this bucket is comfy; there's not a whole lot worse than your protective gear being uncomfortable. The cage fits well and is appropriate without being visually distracting. There was virtually no break-in period as there were with other helmets, it was good to go out of the box, and after a couple of trips, couldn't tell I was wearing it, I mean the weight is there (no it's not that heavy) but you feel the security of it without it being a crusher. The best part is that it doesn't put a huge dent in your wallet.

I was looking for a new helmet after 15 years and this seemed to fit the bill. Good protection, soft padding and a mask that fits.
