Bauer has designed the new Supreme TOTALONE NXG goalie skates for 2014. This goal skate is Bauer’s highest end to date and has the premier goaltenders in mind. The boot has a shorter cut that helps relieve pressure and allows for a deeper goalie stance. To maintain protection and support, the inside edge has been cut 1/2" taller.  This asymmetric design helps goalies mobility from side to side. In addition to these features, the tongue was designed to avoid twisting by making it taller on the inside and has an insert to help prevent lace bite. The PORON XRD padding provides comfort and increase impact protection in the ankle area of the boot.  The footbed uses Bauer's Total Edge padded flaps, this helps keep the feet comfy as long as the game lasts. The new VERTEXX 2.0 cowling has the LS2 stainless steel runner. This is removable and replaceable, allowing changing of steel without replacing the entire cowling.
