I actually bought the skates in the Columbus store and just wanted to say how impressed I was with the staff and the level customer service I received. The young man went over the pros and cons of the skates we were comparing and after the the sale provided a baking treatment to help break in the skates along with a sharpening. I tried both these skates and the comparable CCM super tacks model. The Bauer Supreme s37 is a very comfortable skate and maintains the desired protection. I'm an adult player skating 2x per week and the Bauer skates felt great and held up great for me right out of the box. No break in period or blisters at all. This skate is a little wider so there is no pinch or rub on the side of my foot.

This is my second pair of Bauers in a row. First pair made it 10 years, but were certainly worn out and making my feet & ankles sore after each game. These new ones have a consistent feel, comfortable fit. My salesman at Perani's was knowledgeable & patient.

This model fits better for high arch players. My son who has high arches tried a few models and eventually went with this.
