These are a much needed part of the goalie mask that I bought for my son's Bauer 940 Jr mask. Obviously it takes care of its main business to absorb sweat but also to create a snug fit so the mask has no play and provides better protection. The sweatband is easily machine washable but the extras will come in handy when practicing and for games. The mask itself comes with an extra sweatband but these are small so they do get lost in the laundry.

I re-purchased these sweatbands expecting a few to be lost in the laundry. I stand by the review- they do soak up rather quickly but can be changed easily. Otherwise a very important piece in your goalie mask.
