After 1 skate, it became clear these are very poorly designed and constructed. I realize they're not hockey or figure skates, they're "recreational" skates, but they make it more difficult to skate, especially for beginners, due to their design. They do not tighten properly due to the one piece design of the boot, there is too much padding to get a snug fit. Overall I'd say not worth the low price. Spend a couple extra bucks and get real hockey or figure skates with less padding and proper laces/eyelet design for a good fit and proper ankle support.
