Kid loves these
My daughter absolutely loves these. She can be so picky about her shin guards bothering her, but she says these feel great. Not too much extra cushion to feel bulky, but enough that they protect her.

Lightweight for youth
Trying to reduce the bulkiness of gear from my 5 year old hockey beginner while keeping good level of protection. These shin guards are what I need for these purposes. Two straps make them stay on legs with no tape needed. These may not last long in terms of the build quality but should be long enough before he transitions to junior gear.
