This is a very sturdy unit. I upgraded my son from a junior chest protector to this intermediate unit to get better protection from heavier shots. The thing is built really well. It's got a lot of hook and loop attachment points for the arms and shoulder floaters, so adjustments to individual body size is easy. The arms are super stiff, so breaking it in will take some time. Protection wise, this thing is a tank. Great sternum protection and with the right adjustments, it sits up perfectly to cover the lower neck area. Solid pad.
