great pads my son loves them

These were the first pads that my son used after the Bauer Prodigy line. The transition was easy and these held up to AAA level play. He is still using his 27+1, but I bought him 29+1 to make mid season growth easy to deal with. May as well keep the pads cheap while you can. Paired these with Warrior knee pads and have had zero issues. The pads are showing a little wear after a year and a half and I had to replaced the toe straps once. Overall, I am very happy with these and highly recommend them to younger goalies.

These pads are excellent. Firmer structure than entry level pads. Seem a bit wider than other brands as well. Strap system is heavy duty and very adjustable. Straps allow some play without being sloppy. Sturdy thick knee pads for butterfly landings. Toe strap is velcro with stretch band. Heel strap is velcro and not stretchy. Knee and calf straps are stretch with Velcro. Calf overlap is adjust not stretch with a clip. Worth the money over entry level pads.

These pads not only look nice, but they are very easy for a young goalie to dress and undress himself without any help (thanks to the velcro). I was also very impressed at the speed in which the pads were shipped to me. The only drawback is that the pads do not come with knee/thigh pads.
