As with most Brian's gear, this neck guard is beautifully built and super protective. It compares with the Kova neck guard from Finland which many of the Finnish goalies in the NHL wear, but is half the price.. This is a very firm neck guard and won't suit goalies who prefer the Maltese style soft foam guards, The throat part is quite high, firm on the outside and soft on the inside so it can take a moment to get used to around your neck. I didn't even notice it while playing. The collarbone protection is bullet proof and even helps pad the front of your chesty on straight on shots. While not for everyone, I feel 100% protected and comfortable with this product.

Built like a tank! Comfortable high quality material definitely ready to stop pucks. Great collar bone and upper chest coverage as well.
