these toe ties rotate the pad perfectly. secure and reliable each time. since you have to tie the ends while initially installing anyhow, it would be nice if the cords were a little longer for the user a little more slack. I wear a size 12 skate so the cord is pulled pretty tight. a longer cord would put less strain on my ankles (which is the point). users could cut the cord to desired length.

An improvement over the the original gen 1 smart strap. Much more secure. The cords do stretch but are snug on my size 9 skates

As far as toe tie sets go, this is a very frustrating one. The cords included are too short for a size 10 Graf skate, so there's a huge amount of tension on them when you strap them together. Also, setup is unnecessarily difficult. The chord ends are spread, not sealed, but even the old lighter trick still makes it very difficult to get the cords through the holes on the velcro tabs. And Brian's wants $20+ bucks for this. Ridiculous.
