The CCM 500 goal stick is constructed using Aspen and Fiberglass, while the Paddle uses the traditional foam core construction. CCM has utilized a full graphite design in the blade of this goalie stick. Using Graphite allows for a lighter, more stiffer blade, that also benefits passing and durability.
