The CCM Cut Resistant Compression Goalie Pant is made from a composition of 82% Polyester and 18% Spandex. The pant features a cut protection zone on back of lower leg and above knee cap. These zones are considered prone zones for all types of goalies. When a goalie is in the Butterfly position his or her ankles and lower thighs can be exposed to falling players and skates that can be very sharp and possibly cut the player. CCM creates these zones in this pant to assist and completely stop that issue from happening.
