I have 90s era CCM Tacks 652 skates and they are my never-going-to-replace-them skates if I can help it. Well, as anyone knows, the steel eventually has to be replaced and new steel is pretty darn difficult to get. These gave me a whole new life and years more wearing. Spent $40, saved $800 on having to buy new skates that are not nearly as good (lighter, but not better!!). Thank you, Hockey World! Oh and hey, if you get these, also replace the screws! They may have rust inside that you won't see until you take 'em out and then you'll have to pay for second shipping when the screws are super cheap to add on to your steel order.

I have late 1990s CCM Tacks skates that are in great shape and my 'best skates ever'. After years of sharpening, it was time to replace the steel. Perfect, exact steel. Couldn't be happier. Gave them another several years of life. So happy that I immediately bought ANOTHER set of steel for "some day" backup. You probably want the 263mm set. And don't forget to order the CCM screws (which they also have here) -- and maybe two extras just in case. Enjoy!
