Extra protection added for back of calf is great!
My sons first practice with them was last night and he said they felt awesome. He's been using his other pair for the past few years, and he said he liked knowing he had the extra protection from the new shin pads compared to his old ones, which had no protection for the back of the leg. And to him they felt like he's been playing in for quite some time. No difference in his skating.

Very comfortable
My 12 year old son continues to say how comfortable these particular shin pads are. He also likes the added protection that wraps around the leg. He is a defender and is more will to stand in front of shots with these shin pads.

Perfect fit
My son has always complained about comfort and fit when it comes to calf protection. These fit perfect!
