They don't slide down
These use a screw on both sides of the knee pad to attach the upper piece and lower piece together. Since the two pieces aren't independent, the upper pieces can't slide down and interfere with the knee cap like other kinds of knee pads. They are a little bulky but I don't notice the bulkiness at all. 5/5.
