Excellent fit for high volume foot.
The difference in fit between my previous skates and these is dramatic. I now have enough mid-foot volume room without too much in the toe box area. My foot has low arches and a wide full volume middle. It is almost a wide in the middle, but regular at the toes. The high end materials, neat new runner holder, and low weight are all a bonus. An 8.5 D fits excellent when I wear a 10.5 shoe.

80k heavy price tag but loaded with features and comfort
Ive never worn ccm skates, I've always been a bauer guy until now... I got bauer bumps on both heels from a pair of nexus 7000s so I made the switch to Ribcore. I had to go with the 80k over the 76k so I could get my size in an EE width. I was skeptical with paying that much money but I will say they are hands down the most comfortable skates I've ever worn right out of the box with one bake. I'm impressed with the customizable arch support and built in lace bite protection right in the tounge. 4-5 times up and down the ice and they were feeling pretty good. After skating in them once I feel good about the upgrade.

Great product, good price, right size
After scouring the web for CCM 80k Ribcore, Perani's was the only place with the size 9D in stock. Since they're discontinuing the model I grabbed the last ones I could find. My son loves these skates and wanted to be sure he could have them for another year. Shipping was fast, transaction was secure. We're both very pleased.
