CCM's new U+ 08 hockey skates bring U foam down to a new price point. T%his skate features a Rugged Armour quarter package to hold up to the punishment taken on the ice. The core construction uses customizable U foam to create the perfect fit, regardless of foot shape. This skate comes with a heavy duty microfiber liner that wicks moisture away from the foot. A composite exhaust outsole keeps the boot, light, stiff, and lightweight along with helping to transfer moisture away from the boot. Comes with an anatomical response footbed and pro style felt tongue with lace bite protection. An E-Pro performance Lite holder and Stainless steel scalloped runner round out this CCM U+ 08 hockey skate.

My favorite skates in the U+ line.
This is the last skate in the U+ series to include the traditional felt tongue. I feel it provides the best comfort and allows the most ankle flexion and knee bend. Overall this is favorite skate in the U+ line!

Comfortable Skates...
I play recreational hockey and coach, so I'm on the ice 4-5 sessions a week. I baked these skates and they have been comfortable since day one. They work & feel great. I'm not sure how they'll hold up, as I've only had them a few weeks, but the constru

Good Skates
Worn the skates for a couple pick-up games and a couple league games. Like them so far. Took a couple games to break them in. Haven't baked them as my local guy told me it wasn't necessary. Good skate for the price. Crystal was great to work with over

Ok but starting to break down
I really liked them and was satisfied with the change from Bauer but now the eyelets are falling out, one boot is breaking down and one tongue has ripped. I emailed CCM but no response. If they don't care about their customers then I'm back to Bauer
