You can definitely tell right away the difference in construction between the Coveted A5 and cheaper masks. It is much sturdier and well-built, so I'm confident our young goalie is much more well-protected. Dealing with Perani's was a breeze....easy website to navigate, a quick phone call to confirm my order, and I had it on my porch in a few days.

This is the best retail mask you can by for a Youth Goalie, period. My son has tried both CCM and Bauer and neither dulled the impact of a headshot more than the A5. It is larger and heavier than CCM and Bauer Youth models, but smaller than their Junior, which is perfect for my son who is an undersized goalie playing 12u.
