Brock ™, a shock dissipation component used to deaden rebounds in the shin face of the XHALE leg pad, can now be found in the CAX elbows as well as in its removable vest. The construction of the Brock ™ vest is unique as it allows the goalie to stay cooler by enhancing airflow thereby allowing body heat and perspiration to dissipate. In addition, the Brock ™ vest can be removed and is machine washable. Three tubes of Brock ™ in each elbow protect the goalie each time his elbow hits the ice as the impact is dispersed from bead to bead. By using Brock ™ in these areas, the CAX is 3% lighter than any other Chest and Arm on the market. All new for 2002, the X-Hale Chest & Arm Pads have been updated to provide excellent protection and mobility utilizing patented BROCK™ impact absorption. In addition, a combination of Coolmax® and spacer foam allows the pads to dissipate body heat and moisture so you stay cool and comfortable during play.
