Ball weights just over 8oz (228g), and is almost double the weight of the original Smart Hockey ball, with twice the weight as an ice hockey puck. Patented MAXX 2-piece ball technology combines an ultra durable Surlyn shell with a steel core. The solid core covered by Surlyn shell eliminates any pliancy or “smushing,” of the ball between the stick and training surface. Ball diameter is 2.18” making the ight of contact with the stick 1.09”, which is less than &frac110;” higher than an ice hockey puck.
